Almost without exception He commended the Faith of those to whom He gave His healing touch. He did not comment on their prayers, their sincerity or even their tears, but always on their faith. On the centurion's faith He said, "I have not found so great faith, no, not in Isreal" (Matthew 8"10). To the woman who touched the hem of His garment, He said, "Thy faith has made thee whole" (Matthew 9"22). To the blind men who asked for their sight, He said, "According to your faith be it unto you" (Matthew 9:29). To the Syrophoenician woman He said, "Great is thy faith" (Matthew 15:28). by Dwight H.
